The SkanWorks transformation (the L.A.B. Building) was done over 12 months. Our goal was to bring value to not just one tenant, but a multitude of businesses and sizes. The result was a modern office space perfect for entrepreneurs, small businesses, and larger tenants looking for suites in Skaneateles, NY.
Starting in 2023
We took over the L.A.B. building in Skaneateles, NY which was previously home to Chase Design. In 2023, we began the journey as a multi-tenant office space concept and work began.
Single Tenant → Multi-Tenant
We re-architected, constructed, and managed an entire renovation and build-out that focused on the concept of coworking, suites, and private offices.
We transformed a single-income facility into a dynamic, multi-tenant space designed to accommodate businesses of all sizes and industries. By diversifying our tenant base, we’ve created a more stable and sustainable environment while fostering a sense of community through versatile office solutions.
From Meeting Room Farm
Inside the previous space, we found numerous meetings rooms fit for a large enterprise. We re-engineered the space to be home to many small and mid size businesses in Upstate New York.
To Flexible Co-Work and Private Offices
The new SkanWorks interior features over 30 flexible cowork seats, 12 private offices, 6 dedicated desks, and 7 custom suites.

We separated a cubical area into private offices, corporate space, a shared kitchen, and flex seating to accommodate more businesses.
Cubicles to Corporate Suites
The original coworking space has been reconfigured into distinct corporate suites, offering tailored environments for focused business operations.
